Apparently Kevin Costner and Johnny Morris have become friends. So this year’s Bass Pro Picnic included Kevin Costner and his band.
The picnic itself was very family-friendly with many games and prizes for children, but the Bingo seemed totally unfair. Our cards seemed to be cursed. The numbers were never called… I became obsessed with them and started to ignore the fact that I probably wouldn’t have wanted the prizes anyway. Seriously. What would I do with a leather gun case?! [Actually, the leather might have inspired some decoration, which may be why I remember that prize...]

Oh well. We did enjoy the entertainment, and the fireworks were great, too. Getting out of the parking lot afterward took forever, but it didn’t dampen the mood too much. I was honestly surprised that a corporate picnic could be fun.
